How to Exchange​

Step 1: Access AI Credits Panel​

  1. Log in to LusterCMS
  2. Go to Settings → AI Credits or System → AI Credits
  3. Click the LUSTE Token tab

Step 2: Connect Your Wallet​

  1. Click Connect Wallet
  2. Select MetaMask (or your preferred wallet)
  3. Approve the connection request
  4. Ensure you're on Base Mainnet
Network Check

If you're on the wrong network, click Switch to Base when prompted.

Step 3: Enter Amount​

  1. Enter the amount of LUSTE to exchange
  2. Review the AI credits you'll receive
  3. Check the estimated gas fee (~$0.01)

Step 4: Approve & Exchange​

  1. Click Exchange
  2. First time only: Approve LUSTE spending in your wallet
  3. Confirm the exchange transaction
  4. Wait for confirmation (~5 seconds)

Step 5: Verify Credits​

After the transaction confirms:

  • Your AI credits balance updates automatically
  • View transaction on BaseScan
  • Credits are immediately available for use

FAQ​

How long does it take?​

The exchange is nearly instant:

  • Blockchain confirmation: ~5 seconds
  • Credits available: Immediately after confirmation

Can I reverse an exchange?​

No. Once LUSTE is exchanged for credits, the transaction cannot be reversed. AI credits cannot be converted back to LUSTE.

What happens to my LUSTE?​

Exchanged LUSTE is transferred to the LusterBridge contract treasury. A portion may be burned to reduce supply over time.

Do credits expire?​

No! AI credits in your LusterCMS account never expire.

Can I transfer credits between workspaces?​

Currently, credits are tied to your user account and available across all your workspaces.

Troubleshooting​

"Insufficient LUSTE balance"​

Check that:

  1. You have enough LUSTE in your connected wallet
  2. You're on Base Mainnet
  3. The token is properly imported in MetaMask

"Transaction failed"​

Common causes:

  1. Insufficient ETH for gas (~$0.01 needed)
  2. Network congestion (try again)
  3. Wallet connection issue (reconnect)

"Credits not appearing"​

If credits don't appear after a successful transaction:

  1. Refresh the page
  2. Wait 30 seconds for backend sync
  3. Check transaction on BaseScan
  4. Contact support with transaction hash

Best Practices​

  1. Plan ahead — Exchange tokens before you need credits
  2. Monitor usage — Track your credit consumption in the dashboard
  3. Set alerts — Enable low-balance notifications
  4. Bulk exchange — Save on gas by exchanging larger amounts less frequently
