General Questions​

What is LUSTE?​

LUSTE is a utility token on the Base blockchain that can be exchanged for AI credits within LusterCMS. It provides an alternative way to pay for AI-powered features.

Do I need LUSTE to use LusterCMS?​

No. LUSTE is optional. You can purchase AI credits directly with USD or use the free tier. LUSTE simply offers an alternative payment method with potential savings.

Is LUSTE an investment?​

No. LUSTE is a utility token designed for use within LusterCMS. It is not designed, marketed, or intended as an investment. Please read our Legal Disclaimer.

What blockchain is LUSTE on?​

LUSTE is deployed on Base, an Ethereum Layer 2 network by Coinbase. This provides fast, low-cost transactions while maintaining Ethereum-level security.

Purchasing​

How do I buy LUSTE?​

  1. Set up a Web3 wallet (MetaMask recommended)
  2. Add Base network to your wallet
  3. Get ETH on Base for gas fees
  4. Swap for LUSTE on a DEX (Uniswap, Aerodrome)

Where can I buy LUSTE?​

LUSTE is available on decentralized exchanges (DEXs) on Base:

  • Uniswap
  • Aerodrome

What's the minimum purchase?​

There's no minimum purchase amount for LUSTE. However, gas fees (~$0.01) apply to all transactions.

Can I buy LUSTE with a credit card?​

Not directly. You'll need to:

  1. Buy ETH on an exchange (Coinbase, etc.)
  2. Bridge to Base
  3. Swap for LUSTE

Exchange & Credits​

What's the exchange rate?​

1 LUSTE = 50 AI Credits

Can the exchange rate change?​

Yes. The rate may be adjusted based on AI provider costs and platform sustainability. Changes will be announced in advance.

How do I exchange LUSTE for credits?​

  1. Log in to LusterCMS
  2. Go to Settings → AI Credits
  3. Click "LUSTE Token" tab
  4. Connect your wallet
  5. Enter amount and confirm

Can I convert credits back to LUSTE?​

No. Once LUSTE is exchanged for credits, the transaction cannot be reversed. AI credits cannot be converted back to tokens.

Do AI credits expire?​

No. AI credits in your LusterCMS account never expire.

Technical​

What wallet should I use?​

We recommend:

  • MetaMask — Best for desktop
  • Rainbow — Best for mobile
  • Ledger/Trezor — Best for large holdings

How do I add LUSTE to my wallet?​

  1. Open MetaMask on Base network
  2. Click "Import tokens"
  3. Enter: 0xF320d3e7A4841F4a3052316bf04dB5B84C5b25C2
  4. Click "Add Custom Token"

What are the gas fees?​

Gas fees on Base are minimal:

  • Typical transaction: ~$0.01
  • Exchange transaction: ~$0.01-0.02

Is the contract audited?​

Our contracts use battle-tested OpenZeppelin libraries and are verified on BaseScan. See Security for details.

Tokenomics​

What's the total supply?​

100,000,000 LUSTE (fixed, no inflation)

Can more tokens be created?​

No. The smart contract has no minting function. The supply is permanently capped at 100 million.

What happens to exchanged tokens?​

Exchanged LUSTE goes to the LusterBridge treasury. A portion may be burned to reduce supply over time.

Security​

Is LUSTE safe?​

We've implemented multiple security measures:

  • Verified contracts on BaseScan
  • OpenZeppelin standards
  • No proxy patterns (immutable code)

However, all cryptocurrency carries risk. See Security.

What if I lose my tokens?​

LusterCMS cannot recover lost tokens. You are responsible for:

  • Securing your wallet
  • Backing up your seed phrase
  • Verifying transaction details

How do I avoid scams?​

  • Only use official contract addresses
  • Never share your seed phrase
  • Verify URLs before connecting wallet
  • We will never DM you asking for tokens

Support​

I have a problem with my exchange​

  1. Check transaction on BaseScan
  2. Verify you're on Base network
  3. Wait 30 seconds for backend sync
  4. Contact hello@lustercms.com with transaction hash

My credits didn't appear​

If credits don't show after a successful exchange:

  1. Refresh the LusterCMS page
  2. Check transaction confirmed on BaseScan
  3. Wait 1-2 minutes for sync
  4. Contact support with transaction hash

Who do I contact for help?​

LUSTE is a utility token. Legality varies by jurisdiction. You are responsible for determining if LUSTE is legal in your location. See Legal Disclaimer.

Who can buy LUSTE?​

LUSTE is NOT available to residents of:

  • United States
  • Sanctioned countries
  • Jurisdictions where prohibited

Do I need to pay taxes?​
